Since 1961, Burgess Enterprises has been a leader in the restaurant
and food service industries. We helped pioneer the automated
beverage dispensing arena and the Seattle based espresso revolution.
Burgess continues to provide our customers with the latest
technology and innovative solutions to their current needs.
Today, Burgess Enterprises is the leading manufacturer of espresso
carts and kiosks in the United States, and is a growing force in
other segments of the branded and food service markets. Burgess is
able to support international ventures as well. We have current
customers in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Southern Central
America.
Burgess Enterprises is the designer, master wholesaler and exclusive
factory representative of the Sorrento line of espresso equipment.
The Sorrento was designed specifically for espresso drinks that
originated in Seattle and the North American market. In North
America, milk-based drinks are sold in large quantities, requiring
consistent, high volumes of steam power. The challenge was to make
an espresso machine that would produce the highest quality drinks
and have enough steam power to handle the high volumes. The
Sorrento line does that and more, allowing our customers to reach
their full sales potential.
The Burgess design team has a unique ability to anticipate operational
difficulties, due to years of experience we have gained supporting
and servicing our customers. We can help you design an ergonomically
practical layout for your operation and a natural traffic pattern
for your customers.
Our nationwide network of distributors and factory-trained service
agencies are unrivaled. A local support team is available in most
U.S. locations. This network gives us the ability, in most cases, to
use local installation teams on your project, rather than having to
fly people in at a greater expense to you.
In addition, the modular design of the Burgess carts affords you many
advantages over the standard cart. The components of each cart are
readily available and easily accessed, making the carts easy and
inexpensive to maintain than traditional “glue and screw”
construction.
Finally, our knowledge of local health department regulations and
ability to design to local codes assures our customers that each
Burgess system will pass inspection and open on time.
